Eleni Tsaligopoulou, started singing from an early age in Naousa Greece, and along with her brother- also a musician- they started an amateur singing program. From that trial, Eleni realised her need for expression through singing.
In 1985, she started taking lessons on classical singing, in Thessaloniki in Northern Greece. In
the same winter she started singing proffesionally for the first time.
A year later, she cooperated with Yiorgo Zika and in 1987, she was invited by Manos Hatzidakis to appear in "Seirio" as a performer of Stamatis Spanoudakis.
She later she appeared along many great Greek singers in their concerts, and also in albums.
George Dalaras has given praise to her, and he invited her to be an opening act on
his 1998 European Tour. In 1999, she appeared along Melina Kana in "Dekatria Feggaria" club and later in that same year, she toured with the same singer all over Greece, getting rave reviews, as her album "Stin Epohi Tou Oneirou-Live 98"("Dream Era-Live 98") went plattinum.
In late 1999 she released "Alazei Kathe Pou Vradiazei"("It changes Everytime It Gets Dark")
a different than her usual traditional sounding CDs, which is more oriented on soft rock splashes and alot mellower than some of her last Cds. She has released a new CD single on December 2000, called "Glikos Pirasmos" (i.e. "Sweet Temptation")!!!
Eleni's new CD, a double CD with bonus 4 song All region videos DVD , is tytled "Hroma" (i.e. "Color").

Η Ελένη Τσαλιγοπούλου ασχολήθηκε με το τραγούδι από πολύ νωρίς και μαζί με τον αδελφό της - μουσικός και αυτός - στήνουν το πρώτο τους ερασιτεχνικό πάλκο. Μέσα από αυτήν την ερασιτεχνική προσπάθεια συνειδητοποιεί την ανάγκη έκφρασής της μέσα από το τραγούδι. Το 1985 παρακολουθεί μαθήματα κλασικού τραγουδιού στη Θεσσαλονίκη. Τον ίδιο χειμώνα τραγουδάει επαγγελματικά για πρώτη φορά.
Ένα χρόνο αργότερα συνεργάζεται με το Γιώργο Ζήκα και το 1987 την καλεί ο Μάνος Χατζιδάκις να εμφανιστεί στο «Σείριο» ως ερμηνεύτρια του Σταμάτη Σπανουδάκη. Στη συνέχεια εμφανίζεται με άλλα μεγάλα ονόματα του ελληνικού τραγουδιού τόσο σε συναυλίες όσο και δισκογραφικά και το χειμώνα του '99 εμφανιστίκε μαζί με την Μελίνα Κανά στα «Δεκατρία Φεγγάρια».
